This functionality improves space management by detecting qualitative occupancy flows by providing useful data to achieve cost savings. This information has become even more strategically important since the traditional location- and time-bound model of work has given way to markedly more agile and hybrid models. It is clear, however, that this level of flexibility, in the use of space by the end user, must be accompanied by a management and governance model that is equally flexible, to avoid a variety of inefficiencies and aim for profitability. Even in retail, occupancy functionality is important to optimize business by gathering useful information to update merchandise display according to shopping behavior.
Organic-Response
"Sensor nodes," integrated into luminaires, continuously collect, store and communicate data on occupancy, luminaire performance and energy consumption. The motion sensor used in the sensor node is designed to be deployed in a layout with a high density of sensor nodes. Industry-standard building protocols enable easy integration into the smart building ecosystem. Similarly, data can be made available to Organic Response's cloud-hosted software platform, The OR Portal, where a data analysis engine can generate a deeper view of the workplace.

With the Smart Module accessory, Light Shed 14 extends its functionality beyond light by integrating smart devices and Bluetooth control. Surface or pendant-mounted, in individual modules or a continuous line.

iN60 system can be controlled using Dali protocol. With BLE-Dali interface, light can be managed via Bluetooth, using the Smart Light Control app. The same interface enables beacons to send push notifications or activate smart services, like indoor navigation and/or space management.

Axis camera
The camera expands functionality beyond security to make space management, people management more efficient, improving the overall service and experience of the person in a given environment and moment. The Occupancy function allows to know in real time how many people are in a given area at any given time, monitor the flow of people, and view the data conveniently from a PC. The same with the People Counter function that allows, on the other hand, to quantify the people who have entered a space in a time interval. The camera also offers other services such as Crossing Line Alert, Blocked Exit, Queue Monitoring, Wrong Way Detection, and Response for Dwell.
