Hotel Lone

Featuring an impeccable blend of beauty, style and cultural heritage, the hotel is a year-round leisure and business destination. The main concept of this hospitality lighting project was to respect the peacefullnes of the surrounding area, and to contribute to that tranquility by using subtle lighting solutions. The landscape lighting project included carefully planned illumination of restaurant’s terrace, horticulture walkways and the relaxation zone. For that purpose it was used a range of up light LED, metalhalogene and fluorescent light sources. As Lun-Up solves the usual up light problems as glare, heat and maintainance, it was the ideal product to use in this project. Ground/floor recessed outdoor luminaires Lun-Up’s concept has been developed out of necessity to illuminate a column and achieving uniform linear light without the usual scallop on the bottom part. The basic idea is to undo the usual centered source and dismantle the typical recessed up light round fixture into 4 parts of the curve. Recognized by the comities of the London ARC show Innovation Award and LDA 2012 for its design and innovation, it perfectlly fitted into the Lone Unique Design Hotel’s garden.
