As early as the 1980s, we began to encourage social and market awareness of how advanced light helps safeguard the environment and people's health. We created that kind of light by investing in Research and Development and innovations focusing on energy efficiency, durability, technologies, materials, industrial processes and behaviour, while always reducing impact on our ecosystem.
Now that this concept has become a collective duty, strengthened by the life-blood in us for over 40 years, we are still in the forefront of the race towards Zero Emission objectives and supporting the UN 2030 Agenda.
As a member-company of the Fagerhult Group we are proud that our goals have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative.
The Fagerhult Group has established short and long-term goals for reducing direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions, in scope 1 and 2, by 70% and in scope 3 by 30% by 2030, compared to the base year 2021. We are committed to becoming a
zero-emissions organisation by 2045.
